About ACT
The Ability Center of Greater Toledo is a Center for Independent Living, a non-profit agency serving the Toledo metropolitan and northwest Ohio area. With the assistance of a competent, professional staff and the support of volunteers, the Center works for the rights and concerns of people living with disabilities on local, regional, statewide and national levels. The Center serves seven Ohio counties: Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Williams and Wood; with satellite offices in Defiance and Ottawa counties.
Our mission is to assist people with disabilities to live, work and socialize within a fully accessible community. We do this by providing a variety of services:
