Arc Of Ohio, Inc. - Mission is to offer a future with human rights, personal dignity, and community participation, for people who have mental retardation and other developmental disabilities and their families.
AT Ohio - works to ensure that everyone with a disability who needs technology or related services in order to live, learn or work will receive the required equipment or services in a timely manner.
Autism Society of Ohio - provides easy access to the most current information about resources, publications, news releases, events and other activities related to Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the state of Ohio.
Brain Injury Association of Ohio - provides information, resources, support groups, education for people living with traumatic brain injury and for their families and for professionals working with them.
COFEAT -Central Ohio Families for Effective Autism Treatment is a resource for parents and professionals seeking information about Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) for children with autism.
Disability Network of Ohio - The DNOS is a statewide organization developed to promote an on-going spirit of advocacy on behalf of people with all types of disabilities.
Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio -maintains a network of individuals with Down syndrome, parents, professionals and health care providers working together to ensure that all individuals with Down syndrome are given the opportunity to achieve their potential.
ElderWeb - Provides links for caregivers, providers, and advisors to the frail elderly to on-line information about health, financial, legal, housing, aging, and other eldercare issues.
Ohio District Civitan International - A service club with emphasis on helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Included is a newsletter, information on officers, clubs, and meetings.
Ohio Governor's Council On People with Disabilities - Advises the Governor and General Assembly on statewide disability issues and promotes the value of diversity, dignity and the quality of life for people with disabilities.
Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission - Works in partnership with people with disabilities to assist them in achieving greater community participation through opportunities for employment and independence.

Metro Toledo Stroke Support Group - support for survivors and caregivers; meets first Sunday of each month at The Ability Center. Open discussion and speakers; all are welcome. Stroke survivors are also willing to visit stroke patients in the hospital. Please email or call Kris at (419)841-7006 to schedule a visit or request more information about the support group. Prevent Blindness is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sight saving and preservation efforts through statewide programming, fundraising and advocacy. Eye care is especially important for individuals going through job skills training, re-entering the community or unable to afford regular eye exams. With education and corrective care, individuals can see better, perform better, and preserve their gift of sight. The Vision Care Outreach Program serves the uninsured, the underserved and homeless individuals through partner agencies committed to the procedures and goals of the program.
Presently, Toledo/Lucas County Health Department, Aurora Gonzalez, Friendly Inc, Mercy Health Partners, and Promedica Healthcare Systems are agency partners in the Vision Care Outreach Program. Please contact Stefanie Spieth or Benedicta Mahama at (419) 327-2020.
