Provides information on disability related issues and links to community resources. The department also provides TARPS and Golden Buckeye Card applications, prescription drug assistance information, and much more.
Peer Support
Pairs persons seeking independent living with individuals with disabilities who have experience solving the day-to-day issues of living with a disability.
Specific Assistance
Offers one-time financial assistance to purchase equipment or services related to achieving independent living goals.
Personal Assistance Coordination
Provides help in determining eligibility for state programs that pay for assistance services.
Equipment Loan
Loans items such as wheelchairs, canes, walkers and other mobility aids to persons with disabilities at no charge.
